Medical facilities have had an institutional feeling, but architects and designers are switching that up. Comfortable spaces that feel more like a home than a medical facility are becoming the norm. Aesthetics and comfort are just as important to a patient’s well-being as quality healthcare. Discovering and highlighting these types of areas provides me with the challenges that I enjoy.
